AT WHAT POINT does a development proposal veer to the preposterous at what point does the State Government declare it to be completely farcical & tell a foreign developer to GO AWAY? Because we are at THAT point. There is no social license for this visual atrocity. There is no electoral license for it either. The ASF project is now totally exposed as an ever-expanding land grab fest - taking in the State land near the fishing fleet, islands north of Wave Break and TREBLING the footprint of Wave Break itself. It displays a complete lack of understanding about nature, the Broadwater and its significance to our community. NO ASF we do not want our Broadwater destroyed by a mini-Dubai or mini-Shanghai or mini-Vegas - or any other banal copy-cat version of some fake man-made urban high rise development.
