ATHLETIC ANNOUNCEMENTS Congratulations to the following winter sports teams on their victories yesterday: • JV girls basketball defeated Mauldin 50-10 • JV boys basketball defeated Mauldin 43-24 A SPECIAL CONGRATULATIONS to the varsity wrestling team on defeating Wade Hampton 59-6 last night. The wrestling team clinched the Region 2-AAAA championship with this victory. This is the first region wrestling championship in school history! Tryouts for girls lacrosse will begin on Monday at 4:00 pm on the practice field next to the tennis courts. A reminder that any athlete wishing to work out or try out for a spring sport team must have a completed athletic physical form. Physical forms are available in the athletic training room. There will be a softball try-out meeting today at 3:45 in the DHS media center. If you plan to try out for softball you should attend this meeting. Parents are welcome to attend. The football awards banquet will be held on Monday night at 6:30. There has been a location change for the banquet. The banquet will now be held in the Dorman High School cafeteria on Monday.
