#ATHLETICS - #DOPING - Asafa Powell files appeal over doping ban: Former world 100m record holder #AsafaPowell has asked the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) TO REDUCE HIS 18-MONTH DOPING BAN. Powell 31, and three-time Olympic medal winner Sherone Simpson tested positive for the stimulant oxilofrine at Jamaicas national trials last June. Simpson, 29, has also asked for her own 18-month suspension to be reduced.
