Yesterday I posted--as an example of 17th-century Dutch art--a portrait by Dutch painter Bartholomeus van der Helst (1613-1670) from the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. One or more persons complained that a nipple (gasp!) was visible outside the bodice of the woman in the portrait, so Facebook took the image down and blocked me. [Should any libertines care to see the offending portrait, google (at your own risk) van der Helst Granida.] Just letting you know that youll be safe from my corrupting influence for the next week.
