ATTEMPTED BURGLARY IN OUR HOME INTERCEPTED BY ME I had a weird thing happen today. I was in my office (which is in our garage) here in France, when I heard some weird noises upstairs. Kimberly was gone, teaching at her school. Meg is traveling in the US. So, I went upstairs and to my utter surprise, I saw 2 men breaking into the house through he living room window!!! They were in the process of prying open the window with a screw driver. I YELLED as loud as I could and did huge menacing gestures. They looked up and freaked out! They split running around the house. I ran to the front door, opened it and saw them running into the street and down the street. I YELLED at them as loud as I could and even heard my own yell resonate through the neighborhood! They were gone. I immediately called the police. They were there in 5 minutes. Impressive. They did a quick inspection then took off to try and find them. I doubt they did. Today I will go do a police report. My conclusion is Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is... desperately wicked. And I Cor 6:9 adds, Do not be deceived, neither...THIEVES... shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such WERE some of you; but you were washed... in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ! This was a good reminder to me of why people need the Lord.
