ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: On 06/26/2014 at 1600 hrs Officers were dispatched to pan handlers, who attempted to rob an elderly women at Walgreens, 588 south main street. The suspects were described as two Caucasian Males and one female wearing dirty clothing. The victim stated the pan handlers had circled her as she was standing near the Red Box in front of the building. As they were asking her for money, one of the male suspects used force and attempted to pull her purse off her shoulder to steal it. The victim was able to grab a hold of her purse and then runaway to notify the police. Individuals who fit the description of the suspects near the scene were all field carded. Officers are still investigating the incident and are following up on all leads. .
