ATTENTION ALL, THEFT OF MY FATHERS ART SCULPTURE. Please READ and SHARE this around on Facebook/with your networks. You never know who might know something. My dad Marcus Peake entered 2 pieces of art into the Consumed Art Prize hosted by the City Of Charles Sturt this year which exhibited at their Chambers in Woodville in late November. On or around the date of Monday 24th two women were captured on CCTV walking straight into the council building, walking to the toilet, walking out of the toilet and picking up one of my dads pieces of art and walking straight out the front door with it. These two women have blatantly stolen the piece from under the councils nose and nor were they stopped or questioned whilst doing so. The care and responsibility which has been displayed by the City of Charles Sturt in the safe keeping of all artists pieces is of completely poor standard. Our whole family have been absolutely torn by this event and are shattered that anyone could do such a thing. This piece of art cannot be replaced it is one of a kind and took years of collecting of materials as well as hours and hours of work to complete. Adelaide is a small place, these two women are out there with art that does not belong to them.
