ATTENTION EDUCATORS: Earn CEUs while learning how to utilize the state’s newest common core standards-based curriculum. The Mississippi Blues Trail Curriculum, created through the Mississippi Arts Commission’s Folk & Traditional Arts Program, explores Mississippi History through the lens of the Mississippi Blues Trail using an arts-integrated approach. The 18-lesson curriculum is aimed at 4th grade students learning Mississippi History, but can easily be modified for any age or classroom. Mark your calendar for the upcoming Mississippi Blues Trail Curriculum Workshops, hosted by the MAC, and made possible through grants from the Mississippi Blues Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts.
