ATTENTION: ISCA Fall Conference Attendees! A Graduate Level Sharing Session for Counselor Educators and School Counseling Graduate Students is being held on Friday, November 15, from 11:00 AM – 12:15 PM, during the ISCA Fall Conference. With your assistance, Mary Snyder, the ISCA Graduate Student Liaison, and I conducted a survey of graduate students to determine a topic of interest to be discussed during that session. As a result of the survey, we are planning to hold a panel discussion on tips and techniques for working with difficult parents and teachers. We hope to have counselor educators and practicing school counselors on the panel who can share their resources, experiences, and expertise on this topic with one another and the graduate students in attendance. If you are planning to attend the ISCA Fall Conference and are willing to participate on this panel, please contact me as soon as possible. We would also like to develop a list of resources on this topic to distribute during the sharing session. If you have resources that can be added to this list, please pass them along to me as well.
