ATTENTION: PLEASE READ IN ITS ENTIRETY!! To clarify the demand for action and to advise all my new face book friends I am posting the video in which National Action Against Police Brutality is being demanded, along with the demand that the data be collected to show the murders and brutalizations of police! I stated this nearly 2 years ago and NOBODY heard me until August of this year. The National Bar Association of Black lawyers and Judges held a press conference this August advising the public they would do precisely what I said needed to be done in this video! They are collecting the data of police brutalizations and murder from 25 cities across the United States to present to the U.S. Attorney General with a demand for national action against police brutality and murder. My demands in the video were correct and exact and I took them to the people, organizations and activists. While many agreed with the demand for national action they did not support and promote that demand. I am a mother who lost a child at the hands of police determined to bring about justice not just for my son but the entire nation. While others claim to want to do the same my entire fight has been on behalf of all others. I am a one woman army in search of troops. I go where I am needed nobody pays my expense in order to do it and nobody tells me what to say when I get there. The ability to do more rests upon finances, finances I do not have. I am an independent, self determined, God fearing woman, who resents the fact that I even have to ask financial support from the very people I seek to defend against the murders and brutalizations of police. But what choice do I have? If I were wrong in the position I have taken, and were not backed up by the announcement of the National Bar Association - that it is possible and it is being done - maybe I would quit because the support has not been what it should be. But now that I know, and you know as well, how can you NOT support me? I did a video off the fly no preparation, no prompting, I was just being Danette out on a march and a protest which happen to be on my birthday. And a fellow activist ran up to me and ask me a question. And the answer I gave was recorded on video and that video (at last count) had 254,536 viewers, not on UTUBE on Face Book alone. What I said resonated with people and hundreds and hundreds of signatures came pouring in. They felt what I had to say thanked me and encouraged me on. I want to reach out further and make National Action Against Police Brutality a world wide subject leading to an across the board remedy. My only question is, will you support me with your finances?
