ATTENTION: SALNAM FACEBOOK GROUP His Excellency the President, Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma, extends his personal and sincere appreciation during a formal presentation done by his Special Executive Assistant (SEA) Dr. Sylvia Blyden, of items donated from Canada to help Sierra Leone fight against the deadly Ebola virus. The donation was from the International Hope Canada (IHC) charity through auspices of Sierra Leone Nationals Association in Manitoba (SALNAM). Presentation of Facial Masks and Isolation Gowns was done on July 31st 2014, the day after the President declared a State of Emergency in a bid to combat the Ebola virus that was ravaging parts of the country. At 4minutes and 37seconds of this video is poignant appeal from the President for unity of all Sierra Leoneans in this period he describes as one of loneliness for our country.
