ATTENTION::YOUTH,AND AVIATION LOVERS. . .Am glad to let u know about our initiative....YOUTH AVIATION AWARENESS BOTSWANA.....that is awarness about AVIATION(AIRCRAFT INDUSTRY IN BOTS)...below ull see our visions and mission.And We need Volunteers to help Bring awarness .Having AERO CAMP. beginning of May.at Matsieng Air Field.will be aircraft models.and Kids n youth tasting flight .being taught about Careers in Aviation and also girl child empowerment. . . . . . We are a team of passionate aviation enthusiasts with the aim of raising aviation awareness among youth in Botswana. Objectives 1. To expose youth to business opportunities in the Aviation Industry in Botswana. 2. To encourage youth to utilize the knowledge gained from the aviation awareness camp to impact their lives and those around them. 3. To contribute to the transformation of the aviation industry in Botswana. 4. To empower women to take part in aviation in Botswana and expose girl-child to non-traditional career choices including piloting and aircraft mechanic as well as increase their comfort levels in areas of math and science. Short Term Goals 1. To expose unemployed youth to business opportunities in aviation that they can tap in to improve their lives. 2. To inspire young aspiring pilots and aircraft engineers to take aviation as a career choice when they finish senior secondary education 3. To expose girl-child to non-traditional career choices as well as increase their comfort levels in areas of math and science. 4. To setup aviation clubs that youth can use to share ideas, gain access to knowledge, find job opportunities and business opportunities locally. Long Term Goals 1. To publish an aviation magazine that youth in rural areas in Botswana with no internet access can use of get the latest developments in aviation locally and internationally. 2. Establish an aviation website focusing on local aviation events, news and job opportunities. 3.
