ATTITUDE101 FIGHTING/KEEPING MALICE A particular couple in the 70s lost their daughter through this ugly act. They fought eachother and kept mute. She was washing cloth beside the well, the 3year old girl of her so called enemy was playing around the uncovered well. She never stopped the girl, rather she packed her cloth and left the house. The mother kept looking for her daughter for 3hours-a woman selling petty stuffs outside said I saw...washing and the girl playing around her too... The fire fighters got the baby out of the well- dead in the midnight. The well was sealed up and the lady ran away. Will that family ever forget? Fighting and keeping malice is one of the worse attitude you must drop this year, in case you are involved in the act. It is highly childish for you to allow argument foster into hot confrontations and fighting. And when people fight like that-even with their spouse, they abuse, curse and insult...then the next step is-they close the chapter for eachother. My husband normally say this always mind the way you close the door of relationship, because you may have a cause to knock such door again. Yoruba adage also says rain can beat you into a house twice. In other words, we will always need eachother. People are bound to make you angry and you can also make people angry as well. Is left for you to teach yourself how to stay calm, especially if you want to live long. When you realise a conversation is heading to a serious argument and is uncalled for-stay quiet or you leave the scene, it cost you nothing. If you realise the person is calm, go back, if need be- if not just let it go. Remember, you dont fight all fight and people are watching you-which award will they be able to nominate you for? What is your reputation like-at work, in the neighbourhood, in the public places(market, public transport...)? Smiling over an insult from in-laws does not cost a thing, knowing that you wont remain on a spot forever. When you are at the top, you earn respect from every corner. Rather than fighting and keeping MALICE all about, spend some time to meditate and read. Hunt for ideas that will move you forward this year. So, will you take huge step today and call that man, woman, in-law...and all those you have vowed never to talk to again. Forgive, set them free in your heart in other for you to allow space for inspirational idea that will catapult you to the next level this season. You can always be the best of your kind!
