AUB University Libraries are pleased to showcase key items from its newly acquired #Arab #Cinema Collection, 1940s-2010. Displayed in the main lobby of Jafet Library, and the alcove near the Archives and Special Collections Department, are posters, photos (black and white and in color), press books, lobby cards, ephemera, etc. related to the golden age of Egyptian cinema. The collection also covers the following countries: Lebanon, Palestine, and Syria. It contains: 1732 Lobby Cards; 1850 posters; 1372 photos; 370 books; and 333 Press Books. We hope you will come and enjoy the exhibit, and will soon make good use of the richness of this collection for sociological, historical, political, socio-economic, and artistic research. #AUB
