Abraham Umobuarie, the immediate past HOD of the department of Mass Communication has resigned from the service of Auchi Polytechnic, and now based in Canada. This was made known through his Facebook Account on December 19 2014. The message reads : May I inform my numerous students, associates, friends and well-wishers that I have VOLUNTARILY retired from the services of Auchi Polytechnic, Nigeria. I have now relocated to Canada. My eternal gratitude goes to Madam Rector, (The Osagie of Auchi Polytechnic), Dr. Mrs. Philipa Idogho; Management and staff of Auchi Polytechnic; the staff and my ever-loving students (past and present) of the Department of Mass Communication; Church of God Mission International; as well as my Nollywood associates, for the unwavering love, support and prayers over the years. The world has become a global common room, so we will stay in touch. God bless you! . Time Table yet to be released for School of Evening Studies. However a visit to various departments in the polytechnic revealed that the Time is yet to be released. © Rose Rose also reported that clearance for spat students witnessed a large turn out at campus 2. Clearance started on the 20the of this month. *. Project grouping for regular students is out, as that of Mass Communication has been confirmed. *. The polytechnic will go on election break on 12 of February and resume March 3rd. *. With deep Sadness in our heart , I announce to you the death of a friend, a fellow polyte , A group member and a brother. In person of Josiah who died as a result of an aliment . until his death , he was a student of Auchi Polytechnic ,Department of Architectural technology.
