Roles: 3f, 5+m and announcers LAMONT CRANSTON/THE SHADOW: male, 30s, wealthy young man about town, late night vigilante MARGO LANE: female, late 20s, Lamont’s best friend and assistant GERBER: male, 40s, mad villain, Chief Chemist for the city’s Sanitation Department WESTON: male, 50s, commanding Police Commissioner THE MAYOR: male, 50s, irritable MOTHER: female, 20s, concerned that her child is dying HOUSEWIFE: female, 30s, grieving for dead husband Various minor roles can be doubled up: POLICEMEN, REPORTER, DOCTOR, NEWSAGENT, etc. Sound effects crew will also be needed to operate the Foley table.
