*****AUSSIE FEAR***** Since i have signed treaty with one of the nations of the Original peoples of this land called Australia, i have had a lot of people tell me their fears. For the most it is a simple one that was started in the media, and it goes a little like this do you expect us to just leave the land. I have never been asked by a Black Fella to leave this land. I have never heard any of the elders i have spoken to even elude to this idea. On the contrary, they say the opposite. They only want their life style back, the option to be self-governing again. They never gave it up and it is their right on this land. We owe it to them to give them a FAIR GO MATE. There is even less to fear as they want to hold the leaders accountable for their crimes....this is something we will never be able to do. By simply signing treaty, we solve so much. If, as a nation, we sign treaty with them, we heal the nation, we will be the reconciler, not the government. LETS DO THIS IT IS TIME.
