AUSTRALIA 2013 WESTERN AUSTRALIA STATE ELECTION: -3 ballot boxes containing 1375 votes (ballot papers) found missing; - the government appoints an ex-police chief to conduct inquiry, which concludes, the reason as a human error, occurred due to imperfect processes and lack of leadership in Australian election commission (AEC); - The head of AEC apologise to the nation and resign; - The matter goes to court for judgement as to what must be done now. The court said, as this is equivalent to 1375 voters being denied of their right to vote - there should be re-election in the WA state. That is how elections in a democracy are conducted.
