AUTOMOTIVE FRIENDS S.O.S. PLEASE HELP. I need some advice on my 99 Ranger. I bought a set of used 275/55/20 rims and tires, the edge of the rim is rubbing against the upper ball joint because it is too wide, can I get away with a 1/4 wheel spacer or will I need larger? Will this work at all? I have read that 32 tires will fit on a stock suspension just fine, but may require spacing, in my case it definitely does but Im not sure how much. No one at any parts store or tire place has been able to answer this question because apparently wheel spacers are strictly a custom shop or DIY thing. Any input is greatly appreciated!
