AUTUMN OF CAROTID SURGERY ------ خريف شرايين المخ السباتيه بالرقبه ؟؟ A mesrable very poor young man 27 years old with endolent irresponsive hypertention for years lastly ( months ) developed a left sided neck mass that every body thought irrelevant and could be a lymph node or even a submandibular salivary tumour ,proved through dupplex,CT angio and MRA to have a carotid bod tumour type 2 ,fortunately my team and me could go through it today 25 of November and excised it totally and completely with ability to free the carotid system and vagus nerve from it,s invasion that was likely malignant , time and pathology may confirm our suspecion despite we hope not ? i would like to express my sinceer thanks to my team who did a great jop : Mr A.Osman,Mr A.Rifaat ,Dr A.Saber ,Dr.Marco Mikhael and Miss Shaymaa and also anaesthesia proffesours A.
