*** AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC ADOPTION TONIGHT *** A volunteer writes: You may know Zeus as the all-powerful Father of the gods but our boy Zeusy (hes too sweet not to nickname!) is as far from imposing as you can get and quite the social butterfly, always eager to meet new pals of any persuasion, human or canine, large or small. Zeus wants nothing more than to love and be loved and hes such a good guy that even his official behavior evaluation (which naturally, he aced) uses the word friendly not once, not twice, but 4 separate times! This mocha-colored cutie likes petting and snuggles, gives kisses to any hand that strays his way and sits politely before taking treats ever so softly from my fingers. Though he pulls slightly on leash, he does walk calmly in the street and wow, talk about house trained! Peeing a river the minute we hit the pavement, Zeus takes care of all his other business quickly and often and keeps a spotless den to boot. Off-leash with me he indulges in a little bit of ball chasing and a whole lot of petting and when hanging with other dogs in playgroup theres nothing but happy tail wags and face kisses all round. Were told by the person who surrendered him that Zeus has spent time around small children too and with plenty of exercise to keep him happy I could see this guy fitting into just about any kind of dog-savvy family.
