***AVERAGE RATED SAFER*** Nardo was surrendered due to allergies? They had him his whole life and now they are allergic to him. Please help save Nardo before it is to late.... A volunteer writes: Nardo is a dog whose ancestry intrigues us all. With a face like a Shar-pei and legs reminiscent of a Spaniel, Nardo fascinates everyone he meets! Yet, despite his commanding looks, Nardo is a fine companion, happy to nuzzle against a staff member he recognizes in the backyard. Hes a handsome walker at the park, his plumed tail adding an extra oomph to his princely gait. Surrendered to our care because of allergies, were told Nardo gets along with children but need time to warm up to strangers. Were also told he is housetrained and knows to sit on command. And, Nardos new family will need to be careful about his diet as one cant give [Nardo] any kind of dog food. Whatever his condition, Nardo is a wonderful companion in need of a new family to love, and were all rooting that he finds one soon.
