***AVERAGE SAFER**HELPER DOG***3 year old Mika is handsome boy who is at the Manhattan shelter but only has until tomorrow before it is all over. He needs our help to find a foster or adopter before it is to late. Please share and advocate of Mika so we dont have another perfect angel destroyed..A volunteer writes: Mika wears a gorgeous lush and gleaming coat of tans, and browns and golds. Stunning! Although a bit too thin so we are feeding him an extra meal daily, his coat just gleams, his eyes sparkles, and his tail never stops wagging. Hes likely housetrained, taking care of business the minute we were out the door, and his leash manners so outstanding I could walk him just using my pinky. He poses for pictures calmly, takes treats gently and his kennel card is filled with compliments from other volunteers who have spent time with him. Perfect angel, so sweet, awesome dog, are but a few of the many comments, and all much deserved. Off leash in the backyard he was happy exploring quietly and welcoming other dogs to our pen, tail wagging appropriately in a calm its so nice to meet you. This elegant, gorgeous boy is hoping to find a new family to love and take care of. He rocked his behavior assessment indicating hell be a great fit in just about any home situation.
