**** AWESOME AVERAGE RATED SULLY*** Sweet 1.5 year old Sully was found tied to a pole by some nice teachers. Sully is a boy who got a quick lesson in the school for hard knocks at ACC and now they decided his time is up. Sully needs you to save him today. He is available on the public risk list so public risk list, so reserve him tonight and save his life! A volunteer writes: Sully shares his name with a modern-day hero; pilot Sully Sullenberger, and just like him our sweet Sully is a born survivor, resourceful and brave. Sully arrived as a stray and its clear he was no pampered pet; his beautiful white coat is dirty, those soulful eyes need cleaning and his weight is not ideal. Yet despite these hardships, Sullys spirit remains undaunted and his big heart is open to love. At first he seems timid, bowing his head low as I reach in to pet him, but my hand-shy beau can be courageous too (no doubt hes had to be) and he gracefully submits to being dressed in a coat and leashed for our walk. Free in the yard, Sully quickly warms to me, responding when I call and trotting over to rest his front paws on the chair so I can better caress his face. Hes such a good walker, slowly sniffing everything and greeting other dogs we meet with keen interest and a happy wagging tail. Sully is an easy dog to love; calm and friendly, his lack of formal training no match for such a naturally well-behaved personality. By the time were ready to head back inside, hes actually presenting his butt to me for petting and giving me puppy dog eyes whenever I stop...oh Sully, you charming rogue! Behind his seemingly rough exterior lies a deserving and warm-hearted dog who hasnt had a lot of good breaks in his life so far. Will you be the one to turn his luck around?
