~~AWKWARD BUT INTERESTING ~ Got the strangest phone call just minutes ago. Number was unknown but I answered and this smooth talking male on the other side introduced himself as “Devon.” He then said he is at the Jerk Pit and looking at my business card (I remember dropping a few there) . He then went into a long ramble about he is just arrived in town from Australia. Then start telling me about places he has traveled and lived and spoke about the houses he has in Europe, Costa Rica, Spain and God knows where else. I am wondering what the heck is the point and when im gwine get to it?? He then said your card mentions you write books and he asked if my books were in the European market in the book stores. I told him just through Amazon.UK. He said he is collector of music and books. He then asked me .. “you don’t know who you are talking to – right?” But what is wrang wid dis man dear Gad? Obviously, I replied, “no.” Then he told me his name is Devon Evans, a musician. (Awkward silence) ..then he causally mentions he is an original member of the WAILERS and said it was an honor to speak with me. Mi face light up same time. SEH WAH??! Honor to speak with me?? I am on the phone with a freaking WAILER - how about is the other way around. :D :D Anyway me had to goh Google him up caah mi nain too sure if a true imma talk caah di only Wailer mi know name Bunny. DWL. Sure enough there is a Devon Evans from the Wailers. He told me he would get the books and will keep in touch. I don’t know what that means but man that call was awkward and pleasant at the same time.
