Aaaand last but not least, a HC I wanted to write for myself: Remus/Lily! “You know, James…he’s not so bad,” Remus started, glancing over at Lily. The two were in the middle of hall patrols, a responsibility of prefects. “Seriously, Remus?” Lily sighed. “Are you trying to set me up with James? Is he putting you up to this?” “N…no,” Remus stuttered, turning slightly pink. “You’re a terrible liar,” Lily giggled. She pushed her hair back behind her hair. “I’m not interested in James. Just one of his friends,” she said as she stopped walking, trying to gauge his reaction. Remus stopped. “Sirius?” he wrinkled his nose in confusion. “Why the hell would you like Sirius?” “Not Sirius, Remus.” She giggled again. “You. I like you.” She glanced up at the marauder and traced the scar on his face. “No. I’m not good for you, Lily.” Remus turned and started to walk away. Lily grabbed his hand and he turned back around, slowly. “I don’t care.” She stood on her tiptoes and placed a gentle kiss on his lips. “James will be mad,” he muttered against her lips. Lily pulled away. “James doesn’t own me.” With a groan that bordered on a growl, Remus picked up Lily and deepened the kiss. ~TA 3
