The applicants are required to have above sound knowledge of local wildlife, ecosystem & coastal landmarks. Be available to work full time (40hrs a week) from the beginning of April till the end of October. We are looking for people who are passionate about the local marine wildlife and love being on the ocean. Successful applicants will be positive, outgoing and social who work well with people and stressful situations. Minimum 2 years of experience is required; however, on the job training will be provided for the right applicant. Job Requirements: • Graduated High School; • Min 2 years of experience in whale watching industry or relevant tourism industry; • Above sound knowledge of the local wildlife & ecosystem, boating and safety equipment; • Fluent in English and preferably a second language (preferably European) Duties include the following: • Collecting & escorting individual guests and groups from the various local Hotels and Bed & Breakfasts; • Collect payment for the tour from guests; • Describe and provide relevant information on points of interest and wildlife, whilst answering questions; • Supply relevant information throughout the tour.
