RUPIAH BWEZANI BANDA AND EDGAR CHAGWA LUNGU MATRIX The motion to remove Mr. Rupiah Bwezani Banda was removed after a heated debate was put to a vote around 7pm on March 14 2013. All Members of Parliament from the PF voted in support of the motion!!! Parliament has 158 Members. A number of opposition members especially from Mr. Banda’s party at the time, the MMD and from UPND absconded after a walk-out when they disagreed against tabling the motion. The removal of the immunity meant that Mr. Banda could be arrested anytime and be prosecuted. He became the second former president in Zambia after Frederick Chiluba in 2002 to have his immunity removed.On this day, the 14th March 2013, Parliament had to be on halt for two hours as opposition MPs objected tabling the motion. Justice Minister Wynter Kabimba moved the motion but Monze Central opposition UPND Member of Parliament Jack Mwiimbu rose on a point of order asking whether the House could debate the motion while there was an injunction. But Speaker Dr Patrick Matibini said the two institutions enjoyed separation of power. There was hecking from members of the House especially from the opposition who later all walked out. The Speaker then suspended business. During the removal of his immunity to be persecuted for what the PF government alleged to be gross theft of public funds by RB and his family, all the PF MPs including Edgar Chagwa Lungu were resolved that there was a prima facie case to have RB’s immunity removed. Fast-forward to January 2015, all the PF members are celebrating the endorsement by RB of their candidature. The people of Zambia are entitled to ask the following questions. 1. Are the people in the PF resolved that RB is innocent of the charges they put before the house to have RB’s immunity removed? 2. What does this leave the court processes currently going on in our courts of law? 3. Is Mr. Edgar Chagwa Lungu in order to be sharing a platform with a person he vehemently believed had stolen from the Zambian people? 4. If RB is using some of his personal resources in this campaign, is the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) in order to allow elections to be funded by proceeds of crime? Dear country men and women, Zambia is not for sale. The PF and Rupiah Banda have entered into a deal which we are all not privy to. However, whatever the deal is, it is not in the best interests of this country. Edgar Chagwa Lungu wants your vote and mine on the fake premise that he wants to continue with Sata’s legacy. This is a total lie and an insult to the collective intellect of the Zambia people!!! THESE THUGS MUST BE STOPPED BEFORE THEY SELL ALL OF US TO BOKO HARAM!!!! SMELL THE COFFEE DEAR COUNTRY MEN AND WOMEN!!! THATs WHY VOTE WISELY VOTE FOR HH.
