Abandoned Kitten ..now available for Adoption We suspect that someone dumped this adorable, 5 to 6 month old kitten on the side of a rural road in Poolesville. Miraculously, the tiny kitten made her way to a cat colony that is being managed by two retired people and they knew this kitten was not part of the colony and needed help. They called Ellie Trueman, who runs MCPAW’s Spay It Forward campaign and is doing TNR (spay/neuter) for their colony. Ellie went right over and was able to find the kitten in the dark, pick her up and take her to her home as the temperatures were dropping and this kitten clearly was a pet. The kitten was very cold and extremely hungry but otherwise fine. According to Trueman, the kitten is a real snuggle bug, loves to be held and will purr for hours. She’s a gorgeous tabby with beautiful markings and will be a loyal, loving companion.
