The 1st objective for the Dubai plan 2021 is achieving people happiness, and we have full confidence in those responsible to fulfill this goal. The future is full of opportunities, yet challenges exist too. But facing the future with positive energy will always ensure the best results. We will thoroughly monitor the plans implementation & measure the workflow through a set of KPIs along 6 main pillars. -His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, 17th December, 2014. By the way, there is something I know about this man I have to tell everyone. Although he is a billionaire, he has two old mobile phones. One is for him and his family, while the other is a public line that all his citizens can call him directly on and discuss their problems with him. That, I know. What am I saying? Am I saying our leaders should also start getting mobile phones? Well, not necessarily that but they should just do things that will connect them to the masses, they should listen to the people and stop behaving like arrogant demigods. There is nothing demigoddy about them. Sheikh Maktoum is a billionaire but he drives his Mercedes Benz G63 AMG, a military-grade luxury SUV himself through the streets of Dubai, no escorts, no nothing, just once in a while will you see him being driven by someone else and everyone knows his car number: DUBAI 1. Anytime he shows up at a mall or somewhere, you will see people flipping out their phones and iPads and snapping his car and him himself as he strolls into a shop with his simple white attire. Some approach him and ask questions. Nigerian leaders feel like they are one special orisha. If they are orisha, then they are orisha jakujaku and irunmole radarada that does not deserve any ebo. I dont know how to translate that, please pardon me like Jonathan pardoned Alams. #coughs. Wiki says of him: In 2010 he launched UAE Vision 2021 with the aim of making the UAE One of the best countries in the world by 2021. He is responsible for the growth of Dubai into a global city, as well as the launch of a number of major enterprises including Emirates Airline, DP World and the Jumeirah Group. Sheikh Mohammed has overseen the development of numerous economically transformational projects in Dubai including the creation of technology park and free economic zone Dubai Internet City, Dubai Media City, the Dubai International Finance Centre the Palm Islands and the iconic Burj Al Arab hotel. He also drove the construction of the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. He is a recognised poet in his native Arabic. So you can all see how foolish and how stupid Nigerian leaders are when they steal money and go and invest it in Dubai. Not only Nigerian thieves like James Ibori but religious thieves like Cecilia Ibru and Erastus Akingbola (they can form religious deacon and deaconesses die) but these thieves and rats steal from poor Nigerians who save money in their banks and what do they do? They steal the money and go to Dubai where they buy more houses than Sheikh Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai himself. Can anyone be more foolish than these rats we praise and give yeye second-hand chieftaincy titles in Nigeria? While one leader brings all the investment he can possibly get into his own country, our own here are trying their best to drain everything and take it outside, is it Olamides basket? Why cant they take it inside like his koroba?
