Aboriginal Veterans Remembrance Day Ceremony On 11 November 2013 at 9:00 a.m. Held at the National Aboriginal Veterans Monument Confederation Park, Ottawa Ontario Each year Aboriginal Veterans from the local area hold a small Remembrance Ceremony at the National Aboriginal Veterans Monument located in Confederation Park. The Ceremony will start at about 9:00 a.m. There is an opportunity to smudge before the Ceremony commences. This is very informal Ceremony and everyone in attendance has the opportunity to participate. Anyone can approach the Monument to lay an offering, gift, wreath, silent prayer or whatever feels appropriate. It is a short ceremony with enough time for participants to warm themselves before the National Ceremony starts at 11:00 Everyone is welcome to participate; we only ask that there be the proper respect for the occasion
