About 10 years ago Darrell Wills and several academics around Australia surveyed families on how they rated their state on the progress towards inclusion. They are now repeating that research to see how the States have progressed since in the eyes of families and others wanting children with disabilities included in mainstream classrooms. To access the online survey, go to: https://surveymonkey/s/SchoolInclusion If you know of people unable to access the internet who would be willing to complete the survey, a copy to print is available. It is very important that we get as wide a response as possible to increase the validity of the results so please forward on to anyone you know who is interested in mainstream class inclusion. It is planned to publish the result in an Australian Journal and those who provide their email will be forwarded the results when the research is completed (which will be some months due to the time needed to collect the data).
