About 11 lakh Indian troops fought in First World War. Indan Army fought in Ypres, Somme, Gallipoli, Mesopotamia and won. 74000 Indian soldiers died and 11 won Victoria Cross highest gallantry award in British Raj. These victoris created new world and turned the tide of war in favour of allies.
