About 2 months ago, a friend asked me to try a product called Plexus to see if it could potentially help my fibromyalgia. It was originally created to help regulate blood sugar for diabetics. Over time, it has been shown to help with weight loss and a variety of other health-related issues (fibromyalgia being one of them). Being naturally skeptical, I checked the ingredients carefully - there was nothing in it that isnt a natural vitamin, herb, sea weed or the like, so I determined that it couldnt hurt to try it. I take three of the products each day - Slim (to help regulate sugars), Bio-cleanse (a natural cleanse) and Pro-Bio 5 (a probiotic). I was warned that while the cleanse was doing its job, I might not feel great. Ill be honest and say that this was indeed the case for me. The first two weeks, I felt pretty crappy while the toxins were working their way out of my body. The product works to remove unhealthy candida (a form of yeast) from the body, and that can sometimes be an uncomfortable process. But, having been warned that this might happen, I stuck with it. I didnt notice any monumental differences at first. But after about a month, it occurred to me that my energy level had definitely increased. Normally, on a typical weekend, I would take a Saturday afternoon nap in an attempt to deal with some of the fatigue that is a part of my daily life. Over the last 6 weeks, I have not had the need for that nap, and in fact, have been working on various projects around the house that I normally would not have the energy to do. My fibromyalgia pain, while not gone, has definitely been reduced over the last few weeks. Im feeling stronger and less vulnerable to the slightest change in schedule that would otherwise cause a fibro flare up. This alone is a huge positive change to my quality of life. Although this product is marketed for weight loss, and lots of people do see significant results in that area, I have not personally found that to be the case for me (just being 100% honest). But, since weight loss is not the reason I tried it in the first place, Im not disappointed. The benefits to my fibromyalgia symptoms are enough to keep me on it. And since my experience with this product has been so positive, Ive decided to join the Plexus team in offering them for sale to my friends and family. If you are at all interested, please let me know. I have no intentions of being that pushy girl who is always trying to make a sale at every conversation - that is NOT who I am. I just know that these products have made me feel better, and the opportunity to make someone else feel better too seemed like reason enough to give it a try.
