About 22 years ago, I blew my knee out in a coed slow pitch softball game. Id played softball all my life, was an all star, all league and had offers to play at the collegiate level...it is a game I love to play...so the injury was devastating...and as many of you know, led to a dozen more knee operations, including a total knee replacement. Im sharing this with you because tonight I returned to the softball field for the first time since that injury...as an assistant coach for my daughters team. Im exhausted! But so deeply satisfied and at peace, you have no idea😊
