About 4 years ago when I moved back to Dsm from finishing school in Ames I met with the previous owner of 515 Alive to see how I could help with the event. I mainly just did my own little bit of promo that year but walking out of the event I said to myself next year Im going to headline that stage. When the next year came around, I was offered the headlining slot on the bass stage. I kept supporting the scene and throwing my own shows and then the year after that I had a great opportunity and I became the co-owner and head of operations for the entire event. It taught me that doing things for the right reasons will bring the right results. Every day for the next 2 months I will eat, sleep and breathe 515 Alive Music Festival, 24/7. I wouldnt have it any other way. SUPPORT what is happening around you in a positive way and good things can happen. Hard work with the right mind set is what I attribute my success to. Keep focused and dont ever stop chasing your dreams. Im still running as fast as I can to catch mine.
