About 6 years ago, our external hdd crashed and I lost approximately 500Gb worth of pictures. I was devastated when that happened. About a month ago, my macbook air crashed and lost about 20Gb worth of files. Nothing really important was lost since everything was backed up. Yesterday, I just want to curse apple because my imac crashed and it has more than 700Gb worth of photos in it. Half of its contents were posted online where we can at least retrieve, and the other half, Im still hoping its still there. I just bought an extra external hdd and transferring right now the whole internal hdd and hoping that I can retrieve anything from it.
