About April of this year my life took a bit of an unexpected detour and I found myself using my FB marketing abilities to sell my own products online. I always wanted to design shirts from way back, and my wife can attest to that. Now 8 months have passed since I took this step and God has added an amazing guy to my team who I trust and appreciate immensely. weve become very close friends and together with Gods sovereign help, we have been able to sell over 70k shirts in just 8 months. Im grateful for this past year, the regular 16 hour work days (3-4am bedtimes) have proved to pay off. Of course all of this is God doing as He pleases in my life and I trust Him no matter what season I am in. I have lived through much hardship and desperate times of need. God has humbled me to the point where Ive had to take my wife and kids and move in with our parents for an extended period of time a few years back. I have also lived through much abundance in my life. I can tell you this, Happiness does not come from possessions of this world or monetary gain, but it comes from Christ, contentment comes from knowing Christ. Those who are not content in Christ will continue to chase the passions of the wind without ever finding true peace. They will suck dry every fountain they come to and still look for more water to devour because their thirst is never quenched. When our cravings are not met in Christ we will CRAVE for things that will not deliver and cannot satisfy. When we die, we die with all our accomplishments being buried with us in our grave, and within a few generations no one will remember us. If you dont believe, what was your Great, Great Grandpas Name? See, most of you have no clue. Philippians 4:11-13 I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through him who strengthens me. This next verse is the one that Speaks to me the most. Its a question I ask myself regularly, and try to answer it honestly. 1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this CRAVING that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs. This is my challenge to all who read this. During this Christmas season, take some time to reflect on your life and ask yourself: 1.Why Am I Doing What I Do? 2. For Who Am I doing It? 3. Who Am I Neglecting To Accomplish It? 4. Who Do I Need To Spend More Time With? 5. Have I Dealt With The Really Tough Questions in Life? 6. Am I perfect in Thought, Word and Deed? 7. When I Stand Before God, Will I be Guilty of Breaking His Commands? 8. If So What Will Happen to Me? Will He Have Mercy On Me, or Condemn Me? 9. What does God Command of Me? What Does He Expect of Me? The Simple answer is that God calls all People to Repent and trust in Him. Repentance means to Literally TURN from breaking His laws and begin to follow Him. Acts 17:30-31 The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent, because he has fixed a day on which he will JUDGE the world in righteousness by a MAN whom he has APPOINTED; and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead.” So the same Jesus who humbled himself and was born over 2000 years ago. The same Jesus who came to seek and save the lost (you and me). The same Jesus who called everyone to Repentance. The Same Jesus who prayed for the soldiers and the angry mob as they nailed His flesh to a wooden Cross. The same Jesus who does not wish that anyone reading this post will die in the guilt of their sin. The same Jesus who humbled Himself to a brutal death and to literally switch places with you and suffer Gods wrath on your behalf. Yes, that same Jesus is the one who one day come back and JUDGE the world in righteousness. Jesus has been appointed the Savoir and the Judge. He can be be your dearest treasure or your most dreaded nightmare. When Jesus comes back to Judge the world the Bible tells us that even the most powerful men alive will beg for the mountains to crush them rather than to face His wrath. But!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have hope, as long as you have a heartbeat in your chest, God has given you another day to seek Him while He may be found and to Call on Him While He is near. Romans 10:13 For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. That verse doesnt mean to go once a year to a confessional in order to ease your mind and conscience, it means to confess and to forsake your sin. Leave them behind and follow Jesus. Thats in my friends, I have nothing else to offer you. I am nothing without Christ, I am DEAD without Christ and so are You. Ephesians 2:1-5 And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were DEAD in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— So if you have never made Peace with God, Peace on Earth Good Will To Men Then you are still estranged to Him. Jesus is the hope of the world, and more specifically, your HOPE. ==>> needgod
