About a decade ago Australian of the Year award recipient Tim - TopicsExpress

About a decade ago Australian of the Year award recipient Tim Flannery claimed Perth would be desertified by 2030, and most of the Adelaide Hills uninhabitable due to global warming. These comments were barely reported in the media, and never repeated. They reminds me of when Pauline Hanson warned Melbourne and Sydney would be mostly Chinese cities by 2030, an estimate now revised to 2020. Australia and Canada are the 2 worst polluters per person, with the lowest numbers of renewable energy projects, and most global warming denial. For example, while Sweden and Denmark top the list, the US is only considered a middle-range performer, and Australia is in the worlds worst 5. Im glad to see that Australia will suffer the worst for any European colony due to global warming induced drought, bushfires and cyclones. Everything happens for a reason.
