About a year into my mission I was assigned in an area called San Fernando Cebu. This was a new area and it was a branch that we opened to help the members who lived far from the chapel in Naga. We had about 7 active members and we went to church outside under a hut right on the ocean, often discouraged after church i would go to the sea wall and sit their, I would stare out in to the ocean and look into the sunset, this was one of the most discouraging times of my mission. I would often imagine that I could see the Savior walking across the water to comfort me. I know and I testify that we go through hard times. all of us. But the savior will walk and comfort us all, As Elder Holland Said. Even as he calls us to come unto him and follow him, He is unfailingly running to help us The savior lives, He knows us and he invites us to follow him and become better that we might live with him again someday.
