About an hour ago i spotted a tiny long hair black chiuahhah(sp) dog running down mountain road full speed. Dog would not stop for me. Running in the direction of Ridge from Quaker. I can tell this dog was not meant to be out, dog was running down middle of road and I could not see a collar. I did call animal control, because I was worried it would get hit or picked up by a hawk. Please notify anyone you know with this type of dog. Animal control said they would make a note in the system In case the owner called, but they did not have. Control officer to dispatch until 10 am and by this time I am sure the dog is out I that area. Hope the owner finds it safe!
