About the Author #KristiMoore Kristi E. Moore, also known as Miss Daisy, received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Marketing from Alabama A&M University and her Masters of Science in Management with a Concentration in Information Systems from the Florida Institute of Technology. She currently attends Walden University, where she is pursuing her PhD in Public Health with a Specialization in Epidemiology. She is also a graduate from James Oliver Johnson High School. Along with her love for writing, she also enjoys singing, writing songs, reading and making her famous homemade sweet potatoe pies. Growing up, she received various awards for singing well as performing in local shows, performing in local churches, school concerts and chorus competitions throughout junior high and high school. She has also received awards in jazz and tap dancing from the Bobbies Hall School of Dance (1982-1989). In 1991, she went on to receive her modeling degree from the Professional Academy of Modeling and Acting (PAMA). On March 2, 2005, at the age of twenty-eight and just eight weeks before receiving her Masters of Science Degree, she was diagnosed with an Early Stage Breast Cancer. While going through her breast cancer treatments in 2005, she decided to write about her experience. Having a strong faith in God is what kept her in pursuing her educated dreams and becoming a 2005 Breast Cancer Survivor. This was an experience that changed her life and she wants to share it with the world. It is without a doubt that when you read her shocking discovery of her Breast Cancer, it will leave you speechless. She dedicates her first book to all Breast Cancer Survivors, Breast Cancer Patients, families of those who have lost a loved one to this disease and the entire world. She hopes that her short story will not only change lives, but also save the lives of others. Her biggest dream in life is to become a New York Times Best Selling Author. She also attributes her hard work, dedication and the ability to shine through Jesus Christ. She feels that without her faith in God, she would not have accomplished her education, writing her first book and becoming a 9-Year Breast Cancer Survivor.
