About this time 7 years ago, all the visitors had left. (two new grandmas, two new grandpas, one new aunt, one new uncle, and one new great-aunt). We knew many more grandmas (greats and great-greats, and a great-aunt, and a great-cousin) would be coming in the morning. But there for the first time, Chris Bishop and I were alone with this precious gift from God - this Eden Elizabeth. And I still remember the awe and terror! And we still have that awe and terror. Thankful for the gift of this kiddo. Thankful that we have a great community of family and friends who are helping us as we raise her.
