About to try my hand at promoting a regular night with a bit of a different concept. Been toying with this idea for a while now but decided to just do it haha. It will be open mic with a few unique and interesting rules largely inspired by the open mic nights at the Good Life in LA in the late 80s and 90s. Trying to get it at a community centre or something of the like so I can do it all ages. Going to be on a Friday or Saturday night as the aim is to give young people something productive to do with their weekend nights instead of getting wrecked. More deets to follow!
