About us In 1999, Dutch Olympic trainer Guus van der Meer took the initiative to gather a group of specialists and develop a training device based on Whole Body Vibration technology. This machine, designed by Marcel Tamminga, became known as Power Plate all over the world. After selling Power Plate to an American venture capitalist Guus remained involved for a few years, but his participation ended in 2013. He has since come home to roost.
