Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God. Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. -------------------------------------------------------------------- The brother of the prodigal son was almost pushed out of his rightful position and relationship with His father because of what “he felt he had not received from his father”. And this feeling came out of what his father gave to his brother, “whom he felt did not deserve such blessings”, Luke 15:25-32. Your divine sonship is not based on you having or not having your needs met. You are a son based on the life of Christ that is in you and the relationship with God that you have through Christ. Keep doing your Fathers will and all those things will be added unto you. There may be many things to complain and grumble about, but you must not allow your cares to distract you from doing and completing the will of Him that commissioned and empowered you. I pray for you that neither envy nor lack of contentment will push you out of the position and responsibility that God has given you in Christ Jesus. Come out and join your Father to do His business. Never allow what you feel God has not yet done for you to prevent you from fellowshipping with Him and going out to do what God wants you to do. You cannot join your Heavenly Father in what He is doing if you do not have His heart. Desire to become a man or woman after Gods heart. Jesus was so passionate about what was in Gods heart that He was even willing to go without food just to save a soul. His meat (satisfaction) came from doing His Fathers will and finishing it, John 4:31-34. What is your meat? Are you about doing your will or the Fathers will? Let the passion of your Heavenly Father drive you. Let God find you being about His business. DECLARATION: Heavenly Father, thank You for the privilege to work with You and to be called Your child.
