“Abraham Towers, is that cigarette smoke I smell?” Tina said while entering the garage-adjoining foyer of the home. She smiled and took off her short-heeled dress shoes, offering a glance down the half-staircase that led darkened lower half of the home before turning her eyes and feet up the few stairs to the hallway above. “Shut it down kid,” Tina Towers playfully remarked the moment her second foot touched top stair. Her legs lead her left, toward the master bedroom at the end of the hall. Smokey footsteps followed fiercly and Abe appeared in the doorframe and leaned on his right shoulder. “You know I hate when you call me Abraham. It makes me feel super old.” “Old enough to have descendants as numerous as the stars? “Shut it down kid,” said Abe, with a sneering grin. “How’s the writing? I established butter, and you udder-ly missed it.” “Don’t be a bull-y Tina, very cow-ardly of you.” “Well played Abe Towers, well played,” Tina Towers testified to the comedy deity. She reached out her right hand and Abe placed the papers on her open-palm. Both of them saw symbolism in the action
