Abraham Wright, former Miami Dolphin and current OU Chaplin, is coming to Elevate this Sunday. Come hear this great man of God share with us. Let all your friends know. Abraham Wright was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and raised in Oklahoma City by a single mother. Abraham has one older brother and one younger sister. Abraham graduated from Southeast high school in 2002 and received a scholarship to play football at Northeastern Oklahoma A & M junior college. After graduating from Northeastern Oklahoma A & M he received a scholarship to play football for the University of Colorado in Boulder. Abraham finished his senior at Colorado University 1st team all big 12, 2nd in the nation in sacks, and was selected in the 2007 NFL draft by the Miami Dolphins. Abraham played his rookie season with the Dolphins and was released the following year. Abraham now works for FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) where he takes the message of Jesus Christ into our public schools. Abraham was recently married November 22, 2013 to Marjorie Wright. Before they got married, his wife adopted two girls from DHS, which he is now in the process of adopting.
