Absolutely not, until all other avenues of diplomacy are given - TopicsExpress

Absolutely not, until all other avenues of diplomacy are given their chance, including the mandate for every Middle East nation getting military arms and aide from the U.S. get involved in forcing the Assad regime to eliminate its practice of killing its own people. A U.S. military strike on Syria is a strike against its allies, including Russia and China. It is a strike against our own allies, i.e. Britain. If the President thinks there are to be no repercussions from these world leaders, then he truly is listening to the wrong people and NOT the American public or world opinion. He is backing himself and us into the same sort of corner in which Cheney and Bush ambushed Iraq. 80% of Americans now reject this idea of a military retaliation for something that is NOT A THREAT to our country. If Congress is really listening to their constituents, voters and their own political parties, it is an across the board citizen message to back out of this position the President has put on himself and us. It is a character strength to be able to listen to the people you represent and change course and pursue other more diplomatic and peaceful options.
