Abstain from every form of evil is what we must actively doing every single day. The enemy is not going to leave us alone because we started to make positive spiritual strides towards God, but we don’t let him succeed. Fight onward! Drawing close to God removes his hold and power over us. We must eat from the Tree of Life that we will produce fruits that comes from the Spirit, not evil fruits. We need to put forth the effort of overcoming our patterns of living and thinking like that of the world and of evil. We need to refuse to eat of the tree of good and evil, abstain from every form of evil and hunger and thirst after righteousness. The first step of over-powering the enemy starts with you. Be determined and begin to count your victories from today onwards!! “Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.” ------------ 1 Thessalonians:5:21
